October 29-November 30, Kaitlin Knapp's piece Pennsylvania Farmland was featured in International Print Center New York's New Prints 2013/Autumn exhibition. Kaitlin's work was shown alongside fifty other projects, chosen by a selections committee from a pool of well-over 2,000 prints. May 16-19 Kaitlin Knapp traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the national level of the National Society for Arts and Letters Career Competition in Printmaking, representing the VA/NC region as their first place winner. May 17th, the contestants and NSAL representatives attended the Opening of the National Society for Arts and Letters 2013 Exhibition, on display at the Andy Warhol Museum for three weeks. All sixteen contestants had the opportunity to speak with Andy Warhol Museum Director and competition judge Eric Shiner about their individual works. The first week in May Knapp debuted the second manifestation of her screen printed installation Pennsylvania Farmland. This, along with Laundry Lines and Punching Out, were presented within the context of the collective works of five other UNC printmakers in the show "The Eleventh Hour" in the Undergraduate Allcott Gallery.
